Buzz online around Alfonso Cuaron’s new movie, “Gravity,” started to build several years ago when, if I remember correctly, Angelina Jolie was said to be in talks for a role. Sandra Bullock eventually landed it and above we have the first official teaser poster for the film.

Click to see it in full.

Below, embedded at the end of this post, is a teaser for a teaser for the film, as shown on Entertainment Tonight. It offers a good look at George Clooney keeping his cool after the blast that leaves him and Bullock stranded in space.

“The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone – tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth… and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space,” reads a synopsis of the film.

I’ve seen several of Cuaron’s movies and particularly loved “Great Expectations,” “Y Tu Mamá También” and the brilliant “Children of Men.”

If there’s one director who can pull off an entire movie with just 2 actors, he’s the one.

“Gravity” will be out in October, in 2D, 3D and 3D IMAX.
