Download Xfce 4.10 Preview 1 development release and test!

The Xfce development team proudly announced yesterday, April 1st, that the first preview release of the upcoming Xfce 4.10 desktop environment is now available for download and testing.

Xfce 4.10 is now in feature freeze and this first development release includes major modifications and improvements to the core of the lightweight Xfce desktop environment.

Among the features implemented in Xfce 4.10 we can mention a new application finder, vertical mode for the Panel, a reworked settings dialog, a new MIME-Type editor, added Wacom and Synaptics settings in Mouse settings, improved Thunar file manager, single-click support, desktop icon thumbnails, better pasting of files, better power management, the task switcher supports arrow key navigation, support for tiling windows.

The Xfce 4.10 development cycle contains only three Preview version before the final and stable release, which will be available at the end of the month. The next Preview release will be published at the middle of April.
