The “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” series has seen lots of installments, some of them more successful than others with fans. The latest, which doesn’t drop until next Halloween, promises to be the best so far, after the original.

Fans have constantly been saying that the “Massacre” franchise needs to be done justice, and this is precisely what director John Luessenhop (“Takers”) aims to do.

The film will be “like a love letter to fans,” Slash Film notes, - and the first ever poster seems to confirm that.

While it doesn’t show that much, it’s very promising. “Buzz Kill” reads the tagline, where our eyes are immediately drawn to the chainsaw that’s dripping blood and the promise of pure gore it offers.

The film stars Alexandra Daddario “as a young girl who heads to Texas to collect an inheritance that includes the infamous Leatherface.”

It’s out next Halloween, in October 2012.
