Soon, the range of handsets available on shelves with Google’s new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS flavor should expand with the launch of a new device from HTC, codenamed HTC Ville.

The smartphone was spotted into the wild a few weeks ago, but only now we can have a look at it, courtesy of a leaked press photo that emerged over at Pocketnow.

The new mobile phone is said to pack a fast 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon Series 4 processor and to feature a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display, a Super AMOLED panel that can deliver a qHD resolution.

Moreover, it should sport an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for 1080p video recording, and an impressively slim body, being only 8mm thick.

The smartphone is also expected to include the Sense 4.0 UI from HTC, and to be slated for an April 2012 release. It might become official in February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
