Despite being one of the best-earning male actors in Hollywood last year, Dwayne Johnson is still pushing hard to appear in as many movies as possible. His latest effort is “San Andreas,” an earthquake disaster movie in which he plays the role of a fire department Air Squadron Rescue member.

The Rock offered his fans a sneak peek at his role with a very impressive photo on Instagram that seems to have been taken straight out of a Michael Bay film, since he's doing the slow walk pose, with the smoky background which also reveals a helicopter about to take off.

Clad from head to toe in a rescue worker's uniform, the heavily muscular Johnson captioned the photo “Puttin' in a lot of hard ass work and proud to play my next role... Los Angeles Fire Department Air Squadron Rescue. Shooting starts in 4 weeks. Biggest earthquake of all time hits... SAN ANDREAS. #FirstInLastOut.”

The film is scheduled to be released in theaters next summer, and The Rock is tapped to play a helicopter pilot who flies into the danger zone to rescue his daughter after a massive earthquake hits California. The director of the film is Brad Peyton, who previously worked with Johnson on “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.”
