14 DAY TRIAL // Last week, the producers of “Fast & Furious 7” announced that they were bringing both of Paul Walker's brothers on set and intended to use them as body, face and voice doubles for the dead actor. Today, the first official photo from the set was released and the resemblance is uncanny.
A photo with the Walker brothers and Vin Diesel with his back to the camera shows that Paul's younger brother, Cody, is the spitting image of his late sibling and could easily pass for a younger Paul with just a little make-up.
Even the producers acknowledge this similarity when captioning the Instagram photo with “The resemblance is big! Vin Diesel having a chat with Cody and Caleb Walker on the set in Dubai.”
For those that haven't been keeping up with the production of the movie, Caleb and Cody Walker have been hired by the production team to stand in for their brother Paul, who died tragically in a car crash last November.
Paul had completed the bulk of his role, and now minor actions scenes are said to need shooting before his part can be written off the production schedule. For this, Caleb and Cody stepped in and provided their physical resemblance as well as their voices.
The film “Fast & furious 7” was set to debut this year in July, but because of the delay in filming and the death of Paul Walker, it has now been pushed to April 2015. Writers for the movie confirmed that Walker's character in the movie wouldn't be killed off but retired.
