14 DAY TRIAL // It’s been too long a wait for Wolverine fans, but the sequel to the rather disappointing “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” is finally happening. Above is the first official photo from the film.
A spinoff from “X-Men,” Wolverine was a difficult project from the start. After the lukewarm reception of the first film, a sequel spent what felt like an eternity in production limbo.
The photo above should bring a sigh of relief to fans’ lips. Plus, it also offers a very good look at Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, even though it doesn’t reveal much of the plot.
Indeed, Jackman seems to have gotten even more muscular (and veiny) to reprise this role. We’re not complaining.
The sequel will be out on June 26, 2013 so, until then, keep an eye on this space for more details on it.
