14 DAY TRIAL // One year remains until the official release of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie. To mark the occasion, the studio has released the first official still which presents the faithful moment when Anastasia Steele and the mysterious Christian Grey meet for the first time.
As in the poster, Mr. Grey can be seen in the foreground, his back to the camera, as a shy Anastasia, played by Dakota Johnson, is getting ready to enter his office. Whoever decided to use this image for promotional purposes did a good job.
The tension between the two characters is almost palpable here and foretells of the complicated events that are going to occur. The photo was posted on the movie's Twitter account.
A white-font title, written in simple lettering warns of the time left until the movie hits theaters: “One Year. Valentine's Day 2015.” The photo comes just a week after the first poster was released, also picturing Christian Grey, played by Jamie Dornan.
The movie is based on the best-seller from E.L. James and is also starring Eloise Mumford, Luke Grimes and Rita Ora, while being directed by Sam Taylor-Wood.
