Nokia Windows Phones are certainly some of the most expected mobile phones of this year, but it seems that we will still have to wait for another four full months before we can have a better look at them.

Rumor has it that the mobile phone maker might be set to make its first Windows Phone devices official as soon as October 26th.

On that day, the leading handset vendor will kick off, Nokia World, set to take place in London on October 26th and 27th, and this is the place where it might unveil its very first Windows Phones as well.

This unveiling would also be in line with the planned fall release for Mango, and we should not be surprised if things do line up this way.

However, this would mean that Nokia's Windows Phones might not be launched at the same time as other Windows Phone Mango devices.

Last year, Microsoft unveiled the first Windows Phones in early October and, provided that the history repeats itself, it might make a similar move this year as well.

Nokia already promised that its devices will be launched in time for the holiday season this year, and it might plan on releasing them closer to that time frame, so as to boost sales.

What remains to be seen is what would the first Nokia Windows Phones pack in terms of hardware, as well as the manner in which Nokia managed to integrate its mobile services with the new mobile operating system.

Some of the previous rumors on the matter suggested that the company would aim at launching more than one Windows Phone this year, and that a QWERTY-enabled device might be included in the lineup as well.

Others suggested that the company would released impressive Windows Phone handsets this year, and that even more impressive ones will follow. Next year, the company is expected to start mass producing Windows Phones.
