The smartphone packs an 8-megapixel rear photo snapper

With less than a week until Microsoft is set to unveil the Windows Phone 8 platform, details on Nokia’s upcoming devices are starting to emerge online.

The latest leak is the first photo taken with Nokia Lumia 820’s camera. Published by the Chinese site winp.cn, the full-sized picture is available here.

Nokia Lumia 820 has already been confirmed by several carriers and is expected to arrive on the market in early November.

The Windows Phone 8 device boasts an impressive 8-megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, dual-LED flash, autofocus and full HD (1080p) video recording. There’s also a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon processor, an Adreno 225 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.
