Nokia has already announced four Windows Phone devices with which it hopes to gain back the ground lost in the last two years. Nokia Lumia 610, 710, 800 and 900 were unveiled back in October, and most of them are already available on the market.

Today, a completely new Nokia device with Windows Phone on board has been spotted in the wild. The first Nokia Lumia 719 picture has been leaked via Weibo, the Chinese Twitter.

Although there is no evidence that this is indeed the Lumia 719, details about this smartphone emerged last month when it was spotted at Bluetooth SIG (Bluetooth Special Interest Group).

The handset shown in the pictures does not resemble any other Lumia smartphone announced by Nokia, which is why we can safely assume that this is the rumored Lumia 719.

According to the guys over at Liveside.net, Nokia Lumia 719 is expected to be officially introduced in China on March 28. However, China won’t be the only market for the Lumia 719, as the device is rumored to target other markets as well, including Asia, North America and South America.

Few details on the smartphone’s specs are available for the moment, but we know Lumia 719 will sport a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display based on Nokia’s ClearBlack technology. In addition, the smartphone will pack a 5-megapixel camera.

As the name suggests, Lumia 719 will be positioned one tier higher than the Lumia 710, but it’s unclear in what way the former will be superior to the latter.

According to the latest hearsay, the smartphone will be launched in China on March via China Telecom under a slightly different name, Nokia Lumia 719C.

However, the phone will be known as Nokia Lumia 719 in other regions. Hopefully, we will know more next week when the handset is said to make its way into the shelves.
