While Samsung and HTC continue the global rollout of their Android flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S III and One X, Motorola plans to release another RAZR model.

Rumors on the unannounced DROID RAZR HD emerged months ago, but Verizon and Motorola are still mum on the device.

Although most of the details about the smartphone are coming from China, the DROID RAZR HD will be making its way into Verizon's shelves.

The folks over at Droid-Life have just received the first live pictures of the alleged Motorola DROID RAZR HD, which now has Verizon's logo etched on the battery cover.

Even though the source of the leak said that the smartphone boasts an “amazing” display, there are no official details to confirm the quality of the touchscreen yet. However, as the name suggests, Motorola's Android phone will come with a HD resolution display.

In addition, Droid-Life's trusted source claims that the DROID RAZR HD will feature on-screen navigation keys instead of the usual touch-sensitive buttons.

The bad news is that the device won't be powered by RAZR MAXX's 3300 mAh Li-Ion battery, so expect this one to come with a “regular” 1780 mAh Li-Ion battery, similar to the one included with the Motorola DROID RAZR.

According to these live pictures, the smartphone comes with 4G LTE support, which means that it's likely to be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. However, this information has yet to be confirmed.

Furthermore, the phone is expected to boast an impressive 13-megapixel rear photo snapper with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a secondary front-facing camera for video calls.

There are no details on the phone's exact release date yet, but rumor has it that Verizon and Motorola may go live with the DROID RAZR HD in about two months. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
