Mobile phone maker Motorola is getting ready for the launch of new Android-based devices, including the long rumored Moto X handset, which will provide users with the option to customize its hardware, new reports on the matter suggest.

Apparently, Motorola has already pushed out the first ad for the device (as adage unveils), claiming that this will be the “the first smartphone that you can design yourself.”

According to the ad, users will be provided with the possibility to customize their devices given the fact that “you should have the freedom to design the things in your life to be as unique as you are.”

No specific details on what level of customizations will be available for users have been provided for the time being. However, BGR notes that one version of the device will pack a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, 720p screen, 10MP camera, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
