First Look at Vin Diesel in New 'Riddick' Film

After years of struggling to get the project off the ground, Vin Diesel is finally shooting for the “Chronicles of Riddick” sequel. Above is a first photo of himself in character.

To make this project happen, Diesel and David Twohy had to overcome several obstacles, including a severe lack of funding, which even threatened to shut down production altogether at one point.

However, things seem to be on the right track at last.

Diesel did not reveal anything about the film, but he did make it clear that the photo was snapped on the set.

“Grateful for the opportunity to make magic... Thank you. P.s. One from the set..” he wrote on his Facebook page, where he unveiled the photo.

Still no word on when the movie is out.
