First Look at Tom Hardy in “Mad Max: Fury Road” – Photo

Some hours ago, a photo said to be of Tom Hardy in character on the set of “Mad Max: Fury Road” emerged online. Confirmation has come that it is, indeed, legitimate.

So there you have it: above is the first, more or less official photo of Tom Hardy as Mad Max. Click on the image to see it in full.

“Warner Bros. has confirmed that this indeed is an image taken from George Miller's upcoming film, which officially wrapped on Monday, running slightly over the planned July-November shoot schedule. The signed pic, below, was something Hardy gave to the crew on the last day on the filming,” IndieWire writes.

The photo doesn’t reveal much, being, as you can very well see, a photo of a dirty, dusty Tom in dirty, dusty clothes you’d expect to see on Mad Max walking in the desert. 

Nevertheless, it’s better than nothing.

“Fury Road” also stars Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult, and will be out in 2013.
