Rapper popped the question on the Jumbotron, a surprised Kim said yes

Kim Kardashian got the best birthday present she could have hoped for: her boyfriend of a year and a half (and the father of her child), Kanye West, proposed to her at the AT&T Park in San Francisco, while celebrating her birthday.

A photo of Kim and Kanye right after he asked her to marry him and she said yes, in which she’s showing off her brand new diamond ring, is also attached to this article.

Word got out that they were engaged just hours ago and, while neither Kim nor Kanye has said tweeted anything on the topic just yet, others who were present have.

Moreover, insiders tell Us Weekly that Kanye popped the question on the Jumbotron – in all-CAPS, of course, because Kanye only does CAPS in writing.

“He projected please marry me onto the stadium screen for everyone to see,” says the eyewitness. The celebrity publication has a photo of the Jumbotron, which confirms that this is really what happened.

So, while Kim and Kanye are probably celebrating still, Khloe is gushing about the happy news on Twitter, as per the same report. “Wow!!!!! Am I dreaming??!?! Tears of JOY!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!” she writes.

Of course, the real confirmation comes from Kim’s hairstylist Clyde Haygood, who is also the person who took the first photo of the ring and then posted it on Instagram, with the caption, “Guess what just happened!! #kimye.”

This is Kanye’s first marriage and Kim’s third. Fun fact: she just turned 33, so perhaps the third time is a charm after all.

Funnily enough, earlier this year, right before his daughter North West was born, Kanye was saying in interviews that his private life was not for sale and that he didn’t want people to know what was going on between himself and Kim.

We’re not judging, but proposing on the Jumbotron in front of strangers doesn’t exactly spell privacy. If the moment makes it on the next season of Kim’s reality show, we’ll just consider the discussion a closed one and assume Kanye has been playing the media all along, pretty much like Kim also does.
