As announced earlier, Jennifer Lopez is using her time on American Idol as a launching pad for a new show, one that will also see her as a judge on a panel looking to find a talented artist. Fresh details on it have just emerged.

Jennifer and husband Marc Anthony will soon hit the road in search for new talent. Unlike with American Idol, they won’t have people coming to them to auditions, but the other way around.

And that’s not all that’s been revealed just recently about the new talent show: it also has a name and a first official photo, together with a lengthy trailer, as AceShowbiz can confirm.

Jennifer, Marc and tour director Jamie King will travel to 21 countries in Latin America to find the most talented acts that they can bring back to Hollywood for the grand finale, which will air live.

This is one of the biggest and most ambitious televised projects ever to be made: and the three judges and mentors promise it will also be one of the most beautiful experiences ever had by audiences at home.

“[It’s] the biggest thing that I’ve been involved with yet,” Lopez says in the promo for the show, which you too can check out below.

“With this show we hope for the first time to unite all of the Latin cultures and make something that makes everybody proud,” she adds.

“This is less about competition and more about finding great talent, cultivating that talent, putting it on stage and giving it to the rest of the world,” King adds.

For those who will not have the chance to meet the scouting trio, they should know they can also audition for the show on Facebook and YouTube, where they can upload videos and hope to become “The Chosen.”

“Q’Viva” will be shot in three languages and will air simultaneously across the Western Hemisphere sometime in 2012. Scouting begins in July, so make sure you keep an eye on this space for updates.
