Ever since she was announced to take on the role of Sarah Connor in the latest installment of the Terminator franchise, fans have been dying to see Emilia Clarke, the actress better known as “The Mother of Dragons,” from the HBO fantasy series “Game of Thrones.”

Well, that time has come, although it might not be the photo you expected. The still taken from the filming process shows Clarke with a gun in her hand, dressed in hospital scrubs, standing next to Jai Courtney, wearing the same type of outfit, and also holding a gun in his hand.

In the background, a gray-haired Arnold Schwarzenegger can be seen, playing a visibly older version of the Terminator. Also in the shot, but with his back to the camera, is actor Jason Clarke, who plays the role of John Connor, the robot-busting warrior.

The photos presented by the Daily Mail prove that filming for “Terminator: Genesis” is well under way. It looks as though the plot involves time travel again, because mother and an older version of the son will be forced into a standoff, based on the what we see in the photo.

In fact, this was confirmed by Schwarzenegger himself during an interview: “Terminator deals a lot with time travel, so there will be a younger T-800, and then what that model does later on when it gets reprogrammed, and who gets a hold of him. So it will be all kinds of interesting twists in the movie, but I feel so good.”

He also mentioned that “The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath. It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages.”

Rumor also has it that this movie is going to tie in directly with the storyline in James Cameron's original film and that there is going to be a scene literally taken out of the first movie, when the Terminator steps out after being threatened by the punks, rips one man's heart out and takes his clothes before wandering off.

Apart from the fact that Emilia Clarke looks petite when compared to big burly men like Jai Courtney, whom you've seen in “A Good Day to Die Hard,” and Arnold Schwarzenegger, it's rather odd to see her as a dark brunette when we're used to the silver blond she had in her hair when she played Daenerys Targaryen in “Game of Thrones.”
