First Look at Daniel Day Lewis as Abraham Lincoln

While director Steven Spielberg is making headlines for “War Horse” and “The Adventures of Tintin,” he's also busily working on another film that will most certainly put his name in the Oscar race again: “Lincoln.”

Starring Daniel Day Lewis and countless other huge names, the film is currently shooting in Richmond, Virginia but, until now, production has been done entirely indoors.

This explains why no paparazzi shots have emerged online until now. One college student snapped the above photo at a local restaurant.

In case you think you're eyes are deceiving you, that's not the real Lincoln. Granted, the jeans are a clear giveaway, but the resemblance in the face is uncanny.

“Lincoln” also stars Sally Field, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Hal Holbrook, James Spader and Jackie Earle Haley, and will be out next year.

With this photo, unofficial talk of Lewis getting an Oscar for the performance has officially started.
