Now that he's no longer in politics, former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger is keeping busy with his acting comeback. He's just wrapped work on “The Last Stand” and he's showing fans the first official photo from the film.

Granted, the photo isn't actually from the film, but it does allow fans to get a good look at Arnold's character.

As noted above, he plays an aging lawman who retires as the sheriff of a small town, where he spends his days fighting petty crime and trying to forget his time on the force – and the bad experiences that ended it.

“After a spectacular escape from an FBI prisoner convoy, the most notorious, wanted drug kingpin in the hemisphere is hurtling toward the border at 200 mph in a specially outfitted car with a hostage and a fierce army of gang members,” the synopsis of the film says.

The wanted criminal is heading straight for the town where Schwarzenegger's character sought refuge and, in the end, it will be up to him to stop him before he makes a run for the border – and is a free man.

Also pictured with Schwarzenegger are Jamie Alexander, Luis Guzman and Johnny Knoxville, but the film includes even more stars.

Zach Gilford, Rodrigo Santoro, Forest Whitaker, Harry Dean Stanton, Eduardo Noriega and Genesis Rodriguez are also attached.
