14 DAY TRIAL // Fans of action movies should be happy to know that, though it’s been a while since anything was heard on “Expendables 2,” it’s still happening. In fact, here is a first look at some of the members of the cast.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is now back for a bit more action in the sequel, just tweeted this picture of himself, Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis on the set of the film in Bulgaria.
“Back in action for The Expendables 2! I’m having a fantastic time on set with Bruce and Sly in Bulgaria,” the former Governor writes.
No word yet on the direction his and Bruce’s characters might take, given they only had short cameos in the first film – but which fans simply loved.
Written and directed by Stallone, who also played the lead, “Expendables” proved a hit at the domestic and international box office, which immediately translated into greenlighting a sequel.
This time, Stallone is only an actor in it. Other stars who will appear in it are Jason Statham, Jean Claude van Damme and Liam Hemsworth.
The film arrives in theaters in the summer of 2012.
