First Look: Matt Damon, Michael Douglas as Lovers in Liberace Biopic

HBO is now working on a biopic that will focus on the life (and the controversies that marred it) of famous pianist Liberace. Michael Douglas and Matt Damon star as leads.

It's called “Behind the Candelabra” and is based on the book of the same name.

Production on the film started recently, with the first photos of the leads emerging online the other day, as they shot a restaurant scene together in Beverly Hills.

Above is just one of the many to have leaked on the Internet.

While Michael Douglas rocked newly-dyed red hair, Matt sported a blonde wiglet to play Liberace's alleged gay lover, Scott Thorson.

The picture makes them both look rather silly but convincing at the same time. Either way, we might as well assume, fans will be looking forward to this.

Given the kind of talent involved, so are we.
