First Listen: Nicole Scherzinger “Boomerang” Single

Nicole Scherzinger didn’t have as much luck as a solo artist as she might have counted on, but that’s not to say she didn’t have enough to keep on trying. She’s currently preparing for the release of a brand new single.

Called “Boomerang,” it will precede a yet untitled album.

The video above contains a first listen at the song, but also a first look at the official video, which she’d been shooting until not long ago, as it aired the other night on X Factor UK, where Nicole is a judge.

The video shows Nicole’s protégé on the show, James Arthur, talking about “needing” to win X Factor and then dropping by for a visit on the set where she’s shooting the video, as if to show how his life has changed since he came on X Factor.

Of course, this is nothing but clever marketing on the part of Nicole’s people but, at the very least, it offers fans a first glimpse into what she’s been cooking for the past months.
