First Hidden Pics with the Hottest Google Product!

Since the Mountain View company provided valuable evidence about an upcoming health system to be built by Google, everybody was talking about this potential technology. The time went by and the search giant was getting even closer to a health product that might change the US health care system. Today, Google Blogoscoped published the first pictures with Google's upcoming technology, codename Weaver that is going to be released soon. Basically, the Google product is a storage system that will help store, manage and organize all the information about the patients, medics, surgeries and other health-related matters.

"People need the medical information that is out there and available to be organized and made accessible to all ... Health information should be easier to access and organize, especially in ways that make it as simple as possible to find the information that is most relevant to a specific patient's needs," Google's Vice President of Engineering Adam Bosworth said according to the same Google Blogoscoped.

In an article published yesterday, The New York Times provided some interesting statistics concerning the US health care system and technologies that organize the information. "Today, about 20 percent of the nation's patient population have computerized records - rather than paper ones - and the Bush administration has pushed the health care industry to speed up the switch to electronic formats. But these records still tend to be controlled by doctors, hospitals or insurers. A patient moves to another state, for example, but the record usually stays," the publication wrote.

This is where Google gets involved. Using its powerful online capabilities, the Mountain View company will help the medical systems, not only the one from the United States, to organize and manage the information in a better way. Basically, using a simple username and password, the hospitals will be able to get the details about a certain patient in a matter of seconds. This way, the information will be globally managed and transferred easier so the records are moved in the same time with the patient.
