This week, the Nexus 7 2013 tablet has been officially launched in the Indian Google Play Store. With this occasion, the search giant has taken the opportunity to remove the original Nexus slate from its online adobe.

More than that, if you’re looking to purchase the Nexus 7 2012 though any official channels, you’ll find you won’t be able to do so anymore. There’s still hope if you head out into the open market, though.

If you’re based in India, you can still pick up the first-gen Nexus 7 16GB model for Rs 8,999 / $143 / €106, while the 32GB version retails for Rs 11,999 / $191 / €142.

As a reminder, the original Nexus 7 features a 7-inch (obviously) screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It draws power from a Tegra 3 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

Good news is that the update for KitKat 4.4 is already available for the slate, so you get to kick start your life with the old Nexus in style.
