14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Red Thread is launching the first gameplay footage taken from its upcoming Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey via its Kickstarter page, allowing fans to take an early look at the graphics engine and the world of the title.
The developers state, “this is still very early prototype footage, and as such does not reflect the final quality of the art, animations, frame-rate or UI.”
They add, “Zoë is a placeholder model still dressed in her old Dreamfall clothes, and the geography, trees, buildings and assets are also temporary, and will change a lot in the months ahead.”
Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey is very close to its funding goal at the moment, with more than three weeks to go before the crowd-funding effort is finished.
The team promises that the new title will complete the stories told in the previous two ones in the series and will introduce some gameplay innovations.
