The developers have integrated a couple of very intriguing features

GNOME Shell, a user interface that provides functions for the GNOME desktop environment, has just received a new update and it's now at version 3.11.1.

The GNOME development is running smoothly and more features are added with each new build. A new development cycle has started and it will culminate in the release of a new stable version, 3.12.

Highlights of GNOME Shell 3.11.1:

• UPower is now used directly instead of gnome-settings-daemon; • Support has been added for the new GTK+ notification API; • user-list is no longer allowed to fill up the entire screen; • Misc bug fixes and cleanups have been implemented.
