14 DAY TRIAL // Oliver Stone is one of those directors whose work you recognize at a glance, mostly because of the distinctive color palette he usually employs. It can also be noticed in his upcoming “Savages.”
The film is based on Don Winslow's novel and stars Aaron Johnson and Taylor Kitsch as the two small-time criminals out on a mission to get back their kidnapped friend (Blake Lively).
She was taken by a much bigger drug lord of a Mexican drug cartel, played by Benicio del Toro, who is hand in hand with Salma Hayek. John Travolta also makes an appearance.
