The first footage from the upcoming James Bond movie, “SPECTRE,” has been released: it’s a behind-the-scenes video on the set of the first day of production, which took the entire crew and cast up the mountains in Austria for what is called the “crown jewel” of the action scenes in the film.

You can find the video embedded below, and if you don’t blink, you will also get a look at Daniel Craig reprising his 007 role, disarming one of the bad guys in one swift move and then shooting at another one, who is off-camera.

The footage also includes commentary from actors Lea Seydoux and Dave Bautista, but also from the crew that helped Sam Mendes pick this location for this particular scene.

From the official announcement from MGM, we know that “SPECTRE” will also be shooting on locations in Tangier and Erfoud, Mexico City, Rome, Morocco, Sölden, Obertilliach and, of course, the Pinewood Studios in London.

The Sony Hack of November 2014 revealed Sony’s displeasure with the film’s ever-ballooning budget, particularly because of scenes like this one. It is believed this film will cost upwards of $300 million (€264.4 million), because Mendes insists on delivering beautiful cinematography and creating a universe worthy of the James Bond franchise.

The worst part of it all, also according to info made public with the Sony Hack, is that the story in “SPECTRE” falls flatter than a pancake in the third act, which might put Sony and MGM at huge financial risk, because the massive investment will be lost if audiences don’t love the movie.
