Mozilla confirmed earlier today that the Modern version of its browser would be called Firefox for Windows 8 Touch and would arrive in early 2014.

While no other details have been provided, Mozilla has also released a screenshot showing the first screen that users would see after launching the application.

As you can see for yourselves in this photo published by Neowin, Mozilla is trying to make sure that all users know how to access all features, so the first screen will also show some instructions and tips for the application.

Mozilla hasn’t yet mentioned whether it is on track to launch Firefox for Windows 8 Touch in January, but according to previous reports, the browser should be here in a couple of months with a completely optimized for the touch screen.

Firefox for Windows 8 Touch will work on both desktops and tablets and will be offered free of charge via the integrated store.
