As we’ve reported to your earlier today, new Microsoft Lumia devices have recently been spotted online, more or less confirming that Redmond is working hard to bring more new models to the market as soon as possible.

Information provided by AdDuplex now reveals the name of the four devices that Microsoft is focused on right now, but keep in mind that very little is known at this point and that the details you can find below are subject to change before the public launch.

And still, they are indeed helpful for those who want to have an early look at Microsoft’s future smartphone lineup, as the company is expected to completely revamp the Lumia series in the coming months.

Four new phones in the works

It appears that Microsoft is preparing four different mobile phones, with screens ranging between 4 inches and 5.7 inches and aimed at different markets.

First and foremost, there’s the Microsoft RM 1069/1070/1071, a new handset featuring a 4-inch screen and a resolution of 480x800 pixels. As one can easily figure out by simply looking at the screen size, this phone is particularly designed for emerging markets and is supposed to challenge the domination of affordable Android devices in these countries.

AdDuplex says that this particular model has been spotted in China, which more or less confirms that it’s specifically created for developing markets.

The second device showing up in logs is the Microsoft RM 1072/1075, which reportedly comes with a 5-inch 720p screen and could fit the mid-range Windows Phone device lineup of the company. This is very unlikely to be the Lumia 940, a successor to the Lumia 930, as premium features appear to be missing.

The third is the Microsoft RM 1062/1063/1064/1065 and could represent another attempt at the phablet market. The device could come with a 5.7-inch screen with 720p resolution and might join the mid-range handset lineup. Although it’s not yet clear, word has it that Microsoft could launch it as Lumia 1330, but no other specs are available at this point.

Last but not least, there’s the Microsoft RM 1078, a handset that might be launched in the United States at Sprint. It appears that the American carrier is already testing the device, which could come with a resolution of 480x854px. The exact size of the display is unknown right now.

Unfortunately for those hoping to see new flagships coming out of the Redmond campus, no such devices are prepared right now, but there’s no doubt that exciting news could be disclosed after Windows Phone 10 makes its very first public appearance.
