The first planned add-on for Trials Fusion has just been revealed, in the form of the Riders of the Rustlands expansion, which is set to debut on July 29 and will include 10 new tracks, 18 new challenges, and quite a few other things.

Trials Fusion was launched a few months ago and Ubisoft sparked a rather heated debate because it immediately also released a Season Pass for all of the game's DLC, which cost the same as the actual game.

Now, the first add-on from that season pass has just been detailed by Ubisoft on its UbiBlog, in the form of Riders of the Rustlands.

The new expansion goes beyond the limits of the regular cities and urban environments seen in the main campaign of Trials Fusion and will bring quite a few fresh locations.

"In Riders of the Rustlands players will venture beyond the gleaming cities of Trials Fusion to race through abandoned industrial wastelands, discovering forgotten places where the lack of law & order makes this a dog eat dog world," the studio said.

According to Ubisoft, the DLC includes 10 new tracks that are split between six classic ones, two supercross ones, a new skill game called Laws of Motion, and a new FMX track called the Gauntlet. 18 new track challenges are scattered throughout the new locations, while those who like to create their own tracks can enjoy dozens of new objects for the in-game Editor.

Last but not least, the Riders of the Rustlands DLC also includes five new achievements and trophies for players to unlock on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Ubisoft notes that the add-on is the first of many and that more expansions will debut this summer and fall. The next one, called Empire of the Sky, takes players to some floating islands. Just like all future DLC packs, each one will include new tracks, bike parts, rider gear, editor items, and a new Career Mode event.

At the same time, Ubisoft and developer RedLynx will continue to debut free updates for Trials Fusion to ensure that players have lots of things to do and won't encounter any problems in their racing experiences.

The Trials Fusion Riders of the Rustlands expansion can be purchased standalone but also as part of the Season Pass, which covers all four expansions and comes with a few exclusive items that reward fan dedication.
