It was about time for a big name in music to come up on the stage at the London iTunes Festival. Apple's event had Pharrell Williams on Wednesday and they will bring Maroon 5 up on the stage on Tuesday.

The first act of the night is Nick Gardner. He will be performing at 6:45pm GMT. Funnily enough, he got famous a few years ago by posting his cover videos on YouTube and among those there was a Maroon 5 cover of "Payphone."

His videos went viral and now he is opening for his idols. In the meantime, his tunes from Kelly Clarkson and Bruno Mars got him a record deal. Nick Gardner just released his new single two days ago.

Matthew Koma is the second act for tonight. The young guy from Long Island, New York is the son of a singer/songwriter. He started singing when he was 9 years old and got his first recording deal at 16. In 2012 he got famous for the hit single "Calling (Lose my Mind)."

Matthew Koma will come up on stage at 7:45pm GMT.

Maroon 5 is on

The main act of tonight's show is Maroon 5. The pop-rock band lead by Adam Levine comes from Malibu, California and they hit it big back in 2012 with songs like "This Love," "She will be loved," and "Harder to Breathe." Some of their most recent hits like "Moves like Jagger" got them to the music charts again.

Maroon 5 has released five albums. The latest, called "V" is out since September 2. They will be the stars tonight at the iTunes Festival after 8:30pm GMT and you can follow the show for free via iTunes or Apple TV.

The iTunes Festival is an annual event presented by Apple in London and it takes place at the historic Roundhouse. For 30 days, over 80 artists and bands will be performing in front of a few thousand people in the same hall and millions of viewers worldwide. You can check out the shows in iTunes or Apple TV and everything is for free.

If you don't get a chance to see the live performances, iTunes has them on for a couple of weeks more, and after that you can only buy the videos. The shows are also available in iTunes Radio if you just need an audio feed.
