The first footage from Zack Snyder’s wildly anticipated “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” the first Justice League movie, was introduced at San Diego Comic Con last year, but fans who weren’t lucky enough to score tickets for the convention are yet to see it.

Low-quality, handheld camera versions of it don’t count.

Apparently, we won’t have to wait for much longer, because Warner Bros. is planning to pair the first trailer for the film with another one of its big budget releases, “Mad Max: Fury Road,” which will be out on May 15.

Collider says that all copies of “Mad Max” will come with the trailer and that it will “absolutely” happen on this date, which means that we only have this little to go until we finally see what Snyder has been working on for all this time.

Apparently, there’s a chance that Warners might release the trailer earlier than this date, but they fear the fans’ attention will be focused on Marvel and its “Avengers” and the new “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer, which will premiere with “Avengers: Ultron.”

By releasing the first “Dawn of Justice” preview with “Mad Max,” Warners is basically making sure they got everyone’s ears and eyes for the entire second half of the month of May. This last part is essential because everything has to be just perfect for the launch of the Justice League universe, which is meant to become a rival to Marvel’s Avengers.
