Bold architects are continuously innovating, trying to reduce space requirements, involve sustainable materials and make affordable portable houses even more popular.

The self-inflating, lightweight Basic House, introduced by Martín Azúa, displays all these features, can be easily carried around in a purse and is expected to become an eco-friendly shelter in a matter of seconds.

It basically looks like a tent made of metalized polyester, which is foldable, inflatable and reversible. According to its developer, it self inflates with body heat or heat coming from the sun and protects its owner from the cold outside.

Relying on advanced technology, Martín Azúa has managed to create the golden shelter which, at a first glance, is not much more special than a bag of peanuts. His creation is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who like the idea of traveling with their house in their pockets.
