Actress Scarlett Johansson is not appreciated only for her acting and occasional singing, but also for her incredibly good looks, often making it at the top of the charts with the most beautiful women in the industry. So far, her beauty has won her several advertising contracts with cosmetics companies, but also one with Moet & Chandon, the prestigious champagne brand, as JustJared informs.

The first ads with Scarlett for Moet & Chandon are now out and, useless to say, they’re a pleasure to look at, various celebrity e-zines and blogs are pointing out. Shot by famous photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the pictures present a woman not afraid to embrace her wild side, while not ceasing to be equally stylish and classy at the same time. Clearly, Scarlett has been, indeed, the right image for the brand, just like Moet & Chandon said back when it made the official announcement.

“Scarlett Johansson was the obvious choice as our ambassador because she, like Moet, has a magical story to tell and makes people dream. She is a true icon of celebration – refreshingly spontaneous, generous, glamorous and she lives life to the fullest both on-screen and off.” President of Moet & Chandon Frédéric Cumenal told at the time. If one were to pick just one attribute of the above to describe the ads for the campaign, glamorous would probably be it.

All photos show the Hollywood star in stunning evening gowns, looking her most fabulous. Oddly enough, only in about three of them a bottle of champagne is actually pictured, since most of them simply center on Scarlett’s face or, in some cases, on her fancy footwork, as it has been described. For instance, one shot has Johansson sitting with legs crossed in an armchair, as she’s holding an empty glass of champagne in between her toes. Her shoes are scattered on the floor, as she’s smiling towards the camera, as if she’s waiting for someone to come pour her some champagne in the glass she’s holding.

“I am honored to have been chosen as their ambassador and to make history with the brand, as the first celebrity face of champagne. Moet and the movies both tell compelling stories and share authentic emotions with the world.” Scarlett shared about becoming the first celebrity ambassador for the brand a short while back.
