Some people really like to know what a central processing unit, or in this case, accelerated processing unit, looks like under that integrated heat-spreader, so here we are looking at the AMD A10-7700K "Kaveri" APU.

The pictures surfaced on Akiba PC Hotline and show the second best Kaveri APU in all its pasty glory.

The die measures about 245 square mm and has 2.41 billion transistors. A real lot for something made on the 32nm 28nm technology.

For those who want to know the specs of the thing, the chip has 4 MB L2 cache, a GPU with 512 Graphics CoreNext stream processors, a dual-channel DDR3 IMC with hUMA and DDR3-2400 native support, and PCI Express 3.0.

Finally, the 10-core (4 CPU via two Steamroller modules + 6 GPU cores) A10-7700K works at 3.4 / 3.8 GHz.
