Samsung recently launched its latest LCD HDTV series named 92 and 96, as fresh additions to the manufacturer's award-winning LCD HDTV family. Both series were produced at Generation 7 LCD fabrication facility using only advanced production procedures.

The new models come in three sizes - 46", 40" and 32", each of them offering, according to the company's officials, smooth design and numerous multimedia features. Samsung obeyed the latest rules of technology's game and developed a special Game Mode feature that reduces "image delay" and offers improved graphics and sound for an enhanced video gaming experience.

The gamers will benefit from another Samsung technology - the DACS (Dual Audio Chamber Speaker) System, which features dual dedicated acoustic chambers for expanded low-range, and separate mid/high-range speakers, and SRS Tru Surround XT to provide the ideal sound.

"Samsung is committed to expanding consumers' choices of LCD home theater through technology innovation," said Dave Das, Senior Marketing Manager for LCD, Samsung Electronics America.

Using a built-in RS232 port in the 92 series the users can connect the TV to their MP3 players, or other portable audio players and navigate music files on-screen via LCD remote control.

However, Samsung's 92 Series and 96 Series LCD HDTVs include many more innovative technologies such as S-PVA (Super Patterned Vertical Alignment), a panel technology to provide a wider viewing angle, a wide color scale CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) backlight to generate brighter picture and increased color accuracy, and 1080p resolution for the 96 series, 40" and above.

92 Series: The 46" LN-S4692D can be purchased at $3,999, while the 40" LN-S4092D has a price of $3,299; and the 32" LN-S3292D comes in for a $2,199 cost. All are currently available.
