As we also informed you a while back, “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” comes with a huge surprise for Chris Nolan and Batman fans: a Prologue for “The Dark Knight Rises,” which doesn't come out until the summer of 2012.

The 6-minute clip is accompanied by a new teaser trailer and will not be released online, but will only play in IMAX theaters, ahead of “Ghost Protocol.”

The guys from SlashFilm, Collider and First Showing were lucky enough to be at a premiere screening of the Prologue. The video above is their reactions to what they'd just seen and, while it's not a clip of the actual prologue, it's better than nothing.

Reactions online to the first 6 minutes of the insanely anticipated film are nothing but ecstatic. As the three movie bloggers also note the IMAX is astounding, the music by Hans Zimmer is jaw-dropping and Tom Hardy is a very menacing, physical and destructive Bane.

Oddly enough, the Prologue showed very little of Batman, but this is what the power of a brand is all about: being able to promote it without revealing too much.

The one thing that seems to have bothered members of the audience at this particular screening was the fact that they could hardly understand Bane: he was wearing a face mask and his voice was altered a lot, which made it difficult to understand what he was saying.

Check out the video above with the first reactions to the “The Dark Knight Rises” Prologue and make sure you leave us your impressions in the comments section below, once you see it in IMAX.
