It looks like Sony preps a new software update for its slightly older Xperia smartphones. The new update is likely to be pushed in the following weeks, though we don’t have a time frame for the moment.
The folks over at
XperiaBlog report that there’s a new firmware version 4.1.B.1.13 waiting to be delivered to most 2011 Xperia smartphones.
The update has just been certified and will probably be silently released within the next few days.
Unfortunately, there are no details on the
changes that it might bring, though we can safely assume it will include a fair share of bug fixes and possibly some improvements meant to enhance users’ overall experience.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming update won’t arrive on Xperia PLAY handsets. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
