We're currently loading on Softpedia the newest firmware for Cowon MP3 players. If you've had stability issues in the past maybe it's time you updated the tiny operating systems in your music players and get rid of glitches while at the same time enjoying smoother running and new features.

You can download and install new firmware for the following Cowon MP3 players: i10, C2, D3 Plenue, X7, J3, i9, E2, D2+, and S9. When accesing the page for the firmware you are looking for, please take the time and read the changelogs to see what's new and what has been fixed compared to the previous versions.

At the same time, please mind Cowon's advice when it comes to updating the firmware on your players; make sure your battery is fully charged, otherwise loss of power during firmware update can easily brick your gadget.

Finally, observe that some of the new firmware comes in 3 flavors: North America, EU and Non-EU. Please see which one is suitable for your Cowon MP3 player prior to downloading and installing it.
