Sony Mobile is reportedly gearing up for the release of a new software update for the Xperia T smartphone, and has already received certification for it.

The new software emerged over at the PTCRB for the North American version of the Android-based mobile phone (namely LT30a) as firmware version 7.0.A.3.223.

According to XperiaBlog, the new software update might bring along a series of minor improvements when compared to the current firmware version on this device, namely 7.0.A.3.212.

Furthermore, the news site notes that this software might very well be pushed to the international flavor of the device as well (LT30p).

Unfortunately, no specific info on when the new firmware might arrive on Xperia T has been provided as of now, though Sony might announce something on the matter soon, so stay tuned to learn specific details.
