Owners of the LTE-capable flavor of the Xperia Tablet Z SGP321 out there should get ready to receive a software update in the not too distant future, one that PTCRB has already approved, it seems.

Following the release of Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean for the Xperia Z (C660X) and Xperia ZL (C650X) smartphones, Sony Mobile appears set to deliver the upgrade to its Tablet Z owners as well, a recent post on XperiaBlog reads.

The Japanese mobile phone maker has already had firmware build 10.3.A.0.407 passing through PTCRB testing, and the recently received certification for it suggests that an official deployment might be near.

And with the 10.3.A.X.XXX builds usually bringing the Android 4.2.2 platform release along, Tablet Z owners should soon be able to get a taste of a new flavor of Jelly Bean, it seems.
