Today, Mozilla has made available for download Firefox 29 for Android in a final flavor, with a nice range of new features packed inside, many of which are aimed at providing users with a more customizable experience on their devices.

The new app iteration comes with a new home screen, as well as with a range of sharing capabilities that make it easier for users to access their favorite web content when on the go.

As part of the new release, users will also be able to take advantage of Firefox Accounts, which will allow them to enjoy a better Firefox Sync, so that they can have their tab, bookmarks and history available at all times.

“Firefox Sync is easy to use and helps you quickly and safely synchronize all of your data including passwords, open tabs, form data, history and bookmarks between your computers and Android phones and tablets,” Mozilla explains.

Moreover, the new app flavor allows users to easily customize the swipeable History, Top Sites, Bookmarks and Reading List menu of home screen pages, while also enabling them to choose one of these to be their default home page.

The chosen home screen will appear automatically when opening a new tab or launching a new browser session. Moreover, users will also have the possibility to hide the pages they don’t use regularly, or hide all of them.

Firefox for Android will also offer a more personal experience through prioritize sharing content such as articles, videos and images to social network.

“Colorful icons now appear on the menu bar for your two top sharing services including Facebook, Twitter and your email to make it faster for you to share content with your friends and family,” Mozilla says.

The company also notes that the mobile browser is available in more than 30 languages at the moment, and that it will receive more of them in the not too distant future.

Other changes in the new Firefox 29 for Android include search suggestions via Bing search plugin when it has been set as the default search engine, and better integration for Open Web Apps.

Moreover, the new flavor of the browser arrives with a series of enhancements aimed at developers, including implemented “box-sizing” (dropping the -moz- prefix), console object available in Web Workers, SharedWorker and Synthetic APKs enabled by default, and Color picker widget implemented – access by using < input type="color" >.
