Mozilla is actively working to iron out all issues with its Firefox for Android application. The company has just released a new beta version of its browser, which promises better and faster Internet browsing.

Unfortunately, there is no changelog available, but Firefox users who already installed the fifth beta report that the application is much smoother than any previous version.

We suspect Mozilla fixed some of the issues that were reported by users, though there are still some known bugs that have yet to be addressed. The complete list of known issues is available here.

Firefox 17 beta 5 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.0 and later. Check it out here. Keep in mind that the stable version of Firefox is available as a separate download.
