Firefox OS Simulator, a Mozilla Firefox add-on designed to show how the operating system with the same name works, without having to install a virtual machine, is now at version 4.0.

Mozilla has devoted a lot of time to this OS Simulator and the result is the implementation of a large number of features, from one version to another.

Highlights of Firefox OS Simulator 4.0:

• A new ‘Connect’ button has been integrated for each app; • A dropdown menu has been implemented in each app’s dashboard, allowing users to select a receipt type; • A Style Editor tool has been added for users who are connecting to an app while using a Nightly or Aurora build of Firefox; • Real touch events are now generated by the mouse input.

A complete list of changes and improvements can be found in the official announcement. You can also check the screenshot tour we put together a while ago.
