If you’re curious of what’s to come to Firefox, the latest Aurora lays the plans in a straightforward manner, announcing notable new features, such as setting plugins to load only on click.

Search privacy is also among the changes, as in Aurora all the default ways to search rely on Google HTTPS search service. On the same note, the site identity manager has been tweaked to prevent spoofing of an SSL connection with favicons.

Another important change in Aurora 14 touches on the address bar (dubbed “Awesome”), which can now auto-complete typed URLs, in order to shorten the time spent to reach a previously visited web location.

On Mac OS X 10.7, Firefox Aurora comes with native full-screen support for apps.

Developers have not been forgotten as pointer lock API has been implemented as well as a new API that prevents the display from sleeping.

All these changes are to be expected in the stable version on July 17, this year.
