With the official release less than a day away, Mozilla has already unveiled an unofficial version of Firefox 8 Stable. The newest browser package is available for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.

However, it looks like the latest release is not exactly the final build, since the “firstrun” page still welcomes you to Firefox Beta and notifies that you “are now running Firefox Beta.” What this means is that there may still be some minor changes (the very most of the users won’t notice anything) to be done before the official launch, just to make sure they deliver the best product they can.

According to Firefox rapid release calendar, tomorrow is the big day for Mozilla, as they release Firefox 8 stable officially, together with Firefox 9 Beta, Firefox Aurora 10; tomorrow is also the day they come up with the first nightlies for Firefox 11.
