A new development cycle has stated for Firefox

Mozilla has just released the Beta branch of the upcoming Firefox 35.x and it looks that they don't plan anything out of the ordinary for it, although there are some improvements and various other changes ready.

The Firefox users have been receiving various important features with the past few versions, but it looks like things will remain relatively quiet with Firefox 35.

This is actually a good thing because it allows the user to soak all of these changes that have been made so far. This doesn't mean that Firefox 35 will only ship with a different version number. There are a few improvements that are quite interesting.

The competition is fierce in the Internet browser world and everyone is trying to bring something that the other ones don't have. Right now Firefox is really pushing for its Hello service that allows users to make and receive calls (even video ones) with great ease.

This kind of feature is still young and there are a lot of improvements to be made, but it looks likeFirefox 35 is trying to take care of that.

Firefox 35 Beta is a taste of things to come

There are very few changes that will affect the way Firefox looks, so users won't probably see any major differences since the 34.x branch, but it's a good idea to upgrade. Each new Firefox release also comes with a ton of security updates and those can be very useful.

"Firefox Hello's Guest Mode lets you make free video and voice calls directly from the browser – no account needed! All you need are a microphone, a webcam (optional), and the latest version of Firefox to call friends who are on WebRTC-supported browsers like Firefox, Chrome, or Opera," is noted on the official website.

It's also worth noting that users don't need to share any kind of numbers or special IDs for this feature to work. It's not even like Skype, where you need an account. Just initiate a conversation and share the provided link with the user you're trying to connect with. The connection goes through Mozilla servers, so there is little involvement from the users.

Also, the devs have said that the browser is now much better equipped to deal with dynamic styling changes, the authentication of encrypted connections is now much better, CSS filters are now available and enabled by default, the PDF.js engine has been updated, and a few other fixes have been implemented as well.
