Mozilla has just rolled out a brand new beta version of Firefox 27 that allows users to give a try to the next full build a bit earlier and thus get a taste of what’s to come in just a few weeks for browser fans.

Although no release notes have been provided this time, just like all the other betas that came out recently, Mozilla Firefox 27 beta 9 is most likely focused on fixing bugs and addressing crashes or performance issues, which means that all those who decide to install it should experience a significantly improved and more reliable experience.

Even though it’s supposed to address the common bugs and repair some of the glitches you’ve been experiencing in all the other betas, the new build is still in the same development stage, so a number of problems might still be experienced.

Of course, all those who hope to get bug-free browsing should really get the stable Firefox 26 build that’s supposed to work like a charm on all platforms out there.

Firefox 27 is projected to see daylight on February 4, according to Mozilla’s very own schedule, while the first beta was officially launched on December 10, 2013.

At the same time, the parent company is already working on Firefox 28, which is currently in alpha development stage and is supposed to bring us the first Metro version specifically designed to work on Microsoft’s new Windows 8.1 operating system.

Firefox Metro would come with an interface completely optimized for the touch, as well as with gesture support and other options to make browsing a breeze in the Metro UI. Firefox 28 is projected to be unveiled on March 18, but it remains to be seen whether Mozilla can stick to this schedule or the company might delay the launch for a few days.
